Interview

My determination, persistence, passion and ambition stand out from the competition. I’ve always worked very hard to be the best in both soccer and college and I’ve managed to be at a very good level in both academics and sports. I have clear and demanding goals and I am determined to pursue them. I don’t like to lose and put all my efforts everyday to keep on improving my skills. In addition to that, soccer is what I love the most and the field in my place to be.

As a player, one of my strengths is my speed, technical skills and the way I can easily and wisely read the game and anticipate it.

Because I have the dream to become a professional soccer player, but I also want to keep studying, which is very hard to do in Portugal, my country. I think the US is the best place to combine both and, moreover, the atmosphere, the spirit and the team environment in college sports really attract me.

To study physics and astronomy in a US college with a good academic reputation and to keep on being part of the 11 usual players in the team.

Right now, I only think about becoming a professional soccer player and having a good degree is plan B because it is something that I can use later in life.
