Interview

People who make sport as professionals are different. People who love rowing are used to make big sacrifices and this gives us a lot of mental strength. In this period I train 11 times per week including the morning sessions before school. No one of my friends had the conviction to continue. You must have big motivation and I have got it. At the same time I would like to get a degree in economics/finance to be able to have a fantastic, interesting job after my rowing career!

The reason why is I’m used to compete. And competition at-mosphere in all fields helps to improve personal ability.

Since I had ten years of primary international school in Rome, I would like to complete my English background getting a degree in USA. Secondly being in a college that encourage students to keep on training, it could be a great chance for my future career to do both in one go…

As a rower, the main goal is to participate the Olympic Games as my trainer who won a bronze medal in Athens in 2004 and do a little better than him. In life I would like to get a degree in finance and get hired by one of the most important banks in the world.

I’m a good cook and I’m very confident with Italian cui-sine especially with the typical dishes from Roman kitchen such as amtriciana, carbonara, gricia and many other!
Also, I have studied piano for many years and when I want to relax I love playing music.
