What makes me different is that if I start something, I never give up no matter what. Ever since I started playing football, my path was rough. Being told I’m not good enough, getting kicked out an academy because of racism, injuries etc. However, I never gave up as I knew that I could do it. Other people can’t tell me whats not possible or not. That is something I determine. It’s not over until I’m the one giving up. It’s not just for soccer, it’s also for other aspects like answering hard questions, or even a simple video game. If I started it, I will finish it no matter even if I takes the long way out. No matter what happens, you won’t see me put my head down. I will learn from the mistake and work even harder to perfect it.
The reason I want to compete in an American college is because the fact that the competition is hard, but also that the education is amazing. Other country colleges like my home country Korea, they only focus in football if you’re part of the team in colleges. However, in America, there is a good balance between education and sports.
First, my goal in college football would be being a part of D1 program. If not I will work my way up and get to that point. I want to be able to perform well and help the team out to get to the top. A education wise, I want to have a grade above average and actually enjoy what I am learning.
I want to be the best player I can be. I don’t want to compare myself with other players. I will work my hardest every single day and wherever that takes me I will be proud. However, my life goal in general is to have fun. My dad always told me do what you love, you only live once. I want to be doing what I love such as being a professional football or something related to football all my life. Maybe I might find another thing I enjoy during my college years. I just want to be able to have a life that I am happy about.
I just want you to know, if I am part of a.team or a class, I will be the most hard working person inside the field/classroom and outside the field/classroom. I will always give my best to everything that I do and if I fail to satisfy myself, I will work even harder to get it right for the future.
