Hard work has always been an essential part of my career as a soc-cer player, ensuring my skills to continually improve. Amongst oth-er things, I use both feet, my duel-strength is very favorable and I master both defense and forward.
My passion for progress is mostly due to my great curiosity. Exploring new and challenging territory fascinates me. As a consequence, I love to challenge and push myself. I gladly put down work in order to improve as a soccer-player, and most importantly in order to leave an impact on the team I represent.
First, the combination of academics and soccer is peerless. Not only will it secure me financially, furthermore the combination enables me to follow my two greatest passions simultaneously, which is far less convenient to do in Norway.
Second, most college teams obtain a large extent of resources. In contrast to most of Norwegian soccer-clubs, the resources are grant-ed the teams independent of the athletes’ gender.
Third, even though the U.S. is far from home, being a part of a team will make the distance feel a lot more manageable, as I hopefully will be granted with memories and friendships for life.
Last but not least, I believe that the previous explained cases make college the best place for me to experience development, both as a person and as a player.
In college, I aim to pursue my academic and sporting passions. Within soccer my goal is to become an important part of the team I represent, as I intend to leave an impact both on and off the field. My goal academically is to obtain an advanced educational degree, most likely in the field of science. Nevertheless, I sincerely hope to achieve both intellectual and personal growth along the way.
After graduating from college, I will take full advantage of my knowledge, voice and opportunities. Doing so, I ought to achieve mastery and perseverance in the pursuit of my future goals.
My number-one goal as a soccer-player is to become good enough to succeed professionally. Nevertheless, success in my occupational career is equally important. Hence, in an ideal future I will be able to combine top-level soccer with the profession of my dreams. Above anything, I hope to experience much happiness, joy and excitement while working towards every current and future goal of mine.
