My objective is to combine both of my passions in one, that is to say, soccer and psychology. I think that this could be an amazing opportunity to keep learning and improving in both domains, and besides that, enjoying the experience.

Interview

I think that I am a really complete soccer player. I have a good technique and also consider myself good in the physical aspects of the game, having the resistance required to help my team when attacking and defending. I am left footed, but after years of training I have improved my right foot, and use it well. I also would like to highlight my ability to move the ball effectively and accurately over large distances, as well as taking free-kicks and corners.
In the last two seasons, I have been playing as a left back, settling in my position there. Before this, I have experience playing on the left wing, scoring a solid average of goals per season. I have also played in the middle when the team has needed it due to injuries. Therefore, I think that versatility is one of my strong points as well.

I am excited and eager to compete in college in the United States, because of the way United State colleges opt for female soccer, and sports in general. I believe that we do not have the facilities, here in Spain that you have there, to grow as female soccer players. Especially, if you are also keen on progressing your Academic career in, addition to your skills as a soccer player.
I think that I am young enough and I have the motivation to keep improving in soccer. But moreover, I do not want to have to choose between soccer and my Psychology studies, I want to combine both, because both make me happy, and in college, this possibility is real so I can develop both on the field and off it.

I have three goals: I want to improve and build on existing soccer skills, feeling comfortable when playing and helping my team, and continue to enjoy and compete in the sport.
I want to further my mastery of the English language. I love everything related to international experiences and English opens the door to people from many parts of the world. Studying in America, at a college, would help me grow my vocabulary and written skills.
I want to acquire a deeper understanding of Psychology, increasing my knowledge on topics I am already familiar with, and discovering wholly new ones. The United States are at the forefront of psychological research. As one of the bastions of modern Psychology, I am excited at the prospect of acquiring the expertise necessary to make a lasting contribution to the field.

I just want to be a joyful and independent person in the future. To get so, I have a lot of plans in my mind like studying in a good university taking a Master that I am really interested in, to be able to be a good psychologist in a future, feeling fulfilled with my soccer career, having children…
But to be honest, the only thing that I see clear is that I would like to work with people, helping and supporting them. There are so many social concerns that I would like be involved with.
I hope that this experience could help me to discover new motivations, points of view and challenges to carry out and specify the ideas that I have in my mind.
So, right now I just want to work hard and do my best so that I can shape step by step my future and feel fulfilled and happy.
