Moved to live in Finland National Olympic Training Centre Complex in Helsinki. This enables me to live, study and train at the complex.
Even though I’m only 17 I’ve already lots of experience of playing against top European youth teams such as AC Milan, Juventus, Bayer 04 Leverkusen, Tottenham, Club Brugge, FC Twente, Feyenoord, FC Rotterdam, FC Copenhagen, plus youth National teams. I’m very fast, especially over 5, 10 and 20 metres, I can shoot and cross with both feet and I’m a good finisher, so I can play as a winger or a forward.
It’s a fantastic opportunity to be able to compete at top level college soccer whilst gaining academic qualifications. I’ve also heard fantastic things about soccer and the facilities in the USA from my father who used to coach soccer in the USA (for British Soccer – Now known as Challenger Sports).
My aim is to be a very important player at a top Division One NCAA college whilst achieving very good academic qualifications. I’m very much a team player and would love to help the team win the highest possible awards in college soccer. I also hope to make life-long friends through my time at college in the USA.
My life goals are always to do the best you can and to improve your own ability and yourself in everything that you do. I’ve always aimed for a career in soccer and it would be great to achieve that after winning trophies with my USA college soccer team whilst gaining a good education as backup.
I started off playing ice hockey as well as soccer which I thoroughly enjoyed but, as I got older, I of course had to choose which sport to continue at the top level. I was also very promising in the 100 meters in athletics but, I much prefer playing in team sports and the camaraderie that it brings.
