Interview

In general, a big difference between me and many other athletes is, that I always give my best not only on the soccer field, but also in school. During the last years, I had the highest possible education from both perspectives and that’s why I think I am perfectly prepared for the next chapter of my life in America. In football terms I have many qualities, such as my fast acceleration, my good dribbling, my very good overview, precise passing with both feet, good in one-on-one situations and a good shot. I also have a very high work rate. On average, I run 11.5 km (7,1 miles) in a game (90 minutes). Even in the last few minutes of the game I still have a very high sprint speed, which is why I outrun many of my opponents. I have a very good understanding of the game and can recognize gaps and running routes. My physicality should also not be underestimated. I go into every tackle with 110% determination to win it and to get the ball and score or set up a goal.

I want to compete in college, because it is such a great opportunity to develop every aspect of a person. The combination of sports and education in the United States is ideal for the improvement of soccer-specific skills and the development of my professional future. Not many get a chance to study in America and collect so many different experiences, which you probably only get there. I think the college training with his athletic focus and the professional conditions will take me to a whole new level of performance.
I also always dreamed about playing soccer in a different country with the playoff system and a different kind of flair which comes with it.
That’s why I appreciate having such a chance, and will do everything needed to compete.

Professionally, I would like to work in a hedge fund as a hedge fund manager or be self-employed as a trader. However, I can also imagine a career as a soccer player. That would make my childhood dream come true.

I started trading on the stock market when I was 14. I do this very successfully and have achieved a 100x return with my portfolio. I am currently with three of the best and biggest private banks in Germany. When I was 16, I managed a portfolio worth €3.8 million for a year and achieved a return of 24% (€912,000).
