I’m a natural leader on and off the field. I’m confident but not egoistical and I try to inspire people around me by giving my best in every aspect of life. When I’m encountering problems I do not fear to challenge them because I know that every issue brings an important lesson with it. I’m a firm believer of lifelong learning and to never be complacent. If you don’t go forward, you go backwards.
After studying in the United States for the past three years, I realized that providing quality education while competing athletically on a high level is the greatest gift this Country has given to me. Besides that, I have found friends for a lifetime and made experiences not many people will. Since I have another year of eligibility remaining, I do not want to miss this chance to add even more memories and maybe even a trophy.
I believe making myself the best person I can be and sharing my experiences with others will bring me the greatest happiness and satisfaction in life.
I have a passion for helping underprivileged children. I’ve been mentoring teenagers at a level 6 youth juvenile in Miami for the last two years and I recently started to volunteer as a teachers aid at a local elementary school.
