Interview

I’m a very ambitious and disciplined person, on the soccer field as well as in my academic studies. I’m valuable for my soccer team, because I can anticipate game situations and I am able to find the best solutions to bring my teammates in action. I can play with my left foot as well as with my right foot, in passing and shooting. Furthermore, I do nearly all corners and free kicks for my team and I can play different positions at the same high level.

The US college sports system is unique in the world. It gives me the opportunity to continue playing soccer at a high level while studying. It’s a great chance for me to develop as a player and as a person in general. I want to be an important part of my soccer team and I am willing to work hard so that we can win as many games as possible.

It’s my goal to get a good academic degree while playing soccer at a high level. Furthermore, it’s a great chance to improve my language skills, to get to know a new culture and to meet athletes from all over the world.

My life goal is to reach the highest possible sports level and to get a good job that suits me. To reach these goals I want to face new challenges and develop my athletic and personal skills. My time in the US would build a good base for my future life.

In addition, I like other sports like skiing and snowboarding. Furthermore, I play the trumpet in our school Big Band and I like to play the piano. When my training plan allows, I coach boys and girls at SC Freiburg soccer camps.
