Great leader, great kicker, great vision, good passing and great communication inside the field.
I am an extremely dedicated person in every area of my life. Whether it means getting a 4.0 GPA in high school or becoming the player with the most points in my division, I am willing to put in the work in order to achieve it. Another thing that makes me different from others is my ability to adapt. I am fine adapting to new environments or situations. I have proven this by showing that changing schools did not affect my grades, and changing positions on the field did not affect my ability to score. I have proven persistent and consistent with my work ethic and knowledge to help myself and my team in different situations.
As a college athlete, I believe that participating in sports, such as rugby, provides me with more than just an enjoyable experience. Through rugby, I have developed valuable skills like teamwork, leadership, and communication that will undoubtedly be sought after by employers in my future career. Additionally, being a college athlete has allowed me to build a strong network of contacts and connections that could prove valuable in the future.
But competing in college provides more than just career benefits. It has also helped me develop personally and emotionally. Playing rugby has given me an outlet for stress and helped me develop discipline and time-management skills. It has also built my confidence and self-esteem, which will undoubtedly be beneficial in all aspects of life.
I want to develop and improve my skills in different areas, such as my humanitarian and professional sides. Learning from other people from different cultures is also something exciting to me.
I strongly believe that having a desire to give back to those who have supported us throughout our lives is a noble and admirable aspiration. Many people pursue success and wealth for themselves and their loved ones, but it takes a special kind of person to want to use their success to give back to others. In my opinion, starting a business or becoming a professional can provide an excellent platform for myself to achieve this goal. Not only does it create opportunities to give back financially, but it also enables one to create jobs and opportunities for others, which can have a significant impact on their lives. I understand that starting a business requires a great deal of hard work, dedication, and perseverance, but these are all qualities that can inspire and motivate others. Being a successful entrepreneur can set a powerful example for others to follow and demonstrate that anything is possible with hard work and determination. I firmly believe that the combination of a strong desire to give back and the ambition to become a professional and start a business can be a powerful force for good. It can create opportunities to help others, inspire those around us, and make a positive impact on the world.
I take part in many extracurricular activities other than rugby. I play guitar for my school’s band, as well as being part of the soccer team and 5th member of the debate club. I also have over 65 hours of community service in non-profit organizations like Techo, Arbolito, Teleton, Operacion Sonrisa, Casa Cuna, and Fundacion NAHO.
