Interview

I am a competitive athlete, I have always been one, I started my athletic career when I was 8, I cannot imagine my life without sports or without any goal because those are the things that keep me focused and full me of joy. When I turn 10 I knew that my dreams and goals were far away from where I was at that time, but since that I never stop working hard and pushing myself to be the best version of me in every aspect of life. I demand myself the best on every training; every hour of study and every challenge that life put me in. I want to combine my passion with my professional formation and I am decide to challenge myself to be the best and to represent my future college, country and my family.

I want to compete in college because it is going to be a great opportunity for my athletic career, professional learning and my personal growth. I come from a small country, with barely opportunities for athletes-students, many need to take a step back from their sports or study because it is hard to handle both in this country, but I believe that the programs in American colleges are a great opportunity, because it allows you to study and train at the same time.

My main objectives are to improve me as a person, to learn new things, learn about other cultures and meet new people, achieve new records and face new challenges, always be myself and be proud for everything I am representing, but most of all, enjoy this new experience, full of challenges and new thing to learn. I want to achieve this dream and make my family, coaches and everyone that brings me all of their support proud.

My long-term goals are to finish my studies the best way possible and beat every short-term athletic objective, and be happy and proud about everything I have achieved. My life goal is to encourage other young athletes to learn to empower themselves, learn to fight for their dreams, facing the life’s challenges with the head up, and ready to give the best of themselves. I want to inspire others and help people, especially young women and young female athletes.
