Being half Italian half Czech (my father is from Rome & my mother from Prague) I have always travelled throughout Europe and obviously am a native speaker of both languages. This mental openness allowed me to learn languages easily, meaning I speak English perfectly, along with fluent skills in Spanish, Russian and French. I also studied in one of Italy’s hardest high schools, Liceo Classico Marco Tullio Cicerone where I studied ancient Greece and latin as well. My academic abilities have furthermore allowed me to receive an academic scholarship at the University of New York in Prague (UNYP – an accredited college with American degrees, meaning I can transfer my credits), after having successfully passed both English & Mathematics exams. Moreover, I have been to the USA more than ten times. In this regard, my brother had a soccer scholarship at Hofstra University in New York, which allowed me with the possibility of already experiencing in detail what college life is. I also trained with the Long Island Rough Riders (PDL), on Coach Nuttal’s behalf.
Because it is a unique opportunity of combining academic and sport life, both of which are essential to me. Having had such bright academic past I definitely did not want to give it all up for following an uncertain soccer career. Surely, I could intensify my efforts on soccer by deciding to pursue such a path, but the certainty of receiving a bachelor’s degree, and moreover doing so by continuing playing at a competitive level, with the consequent eventuality of still being able to make it (my brother, for instance, signed a professional contract with AC Sparta Praha after graduating from Hofstra), and the obvious knowledge of being secured by having a title, is worth much more than any other possible option.
Possibly attending a D1 school with strong academics (International affairs, Political science – law). Maintaining the highest possible number of clean sheets throughout my college career & leaving with a 3.7 plus gpa.
Naturally my dream would be playing for AS Roma, being my hometown and my beloved soccer club.
In the work sphere I am intentioned in pursuing the diplomatic career, or entering an International Organization (e.g. CERN, I have already visited it in Geneva). Obviously, I am however open to any other eventual opportunity, as mind openness is one of a person’s greatest abilities.
I played tennis competitively, did several years of swimming and also played basketball and volleyball throughout my school years in Italy. Despite soccer remaining obviously the only sport I have practiced uninterrupted and constantly since the age of 5.
I love travelling and have visited more than 25 nations in my life.
