Interview

The biggest thing that separates me from other golfers, is what goes on inside my head. I am an extremely strong mental player and this is what helps me succeed and play to my full potential in tournaments. Because I bring my best to tournaments, I am a consistent player. I am also very a positive influence on any team that I am part of, often being known as the “mentally strong guy” on the team. I am an eternal optimist and even when things aren’t going my way, I always believe in myself and feel that I am capable of turning any bad shot or unlucky bounce into a great play.

Golf is my passion and I want to have a very good education as this is a very important part of life. I could not imagine going to school for several years and not being able to grow in the sport that I love and want to thrive at. I want to compete in college because I feel that doing so will continue to teach me valuable life lessons such as time management, team play and recognition to potentially higher levels of golf. I love to work hard and be challenged daily and I feel that college golf gives me the best stage to succeed.

While I am not entirely sure on my educational route as of yet as I am only in grade 10, Architecture does interest me as well as business administration. Over the next few years, I think I will have a better idea as to what direction I want to go in educationally.

I want to be able to incorporate my passion of golf into my life and hopefully my career. My ultimate goal in in life would be to play golf professionally on the PGA tour. As I know the numbers may be stacked against me however, I still want golf to be part of my career, whether it is professionally or on the course doing business. Aside from golf as a profession, I have always been quite good with numbers and architecture also interests me.
