One season experience in Ireland (Highschool Exchange Program)
It’s not really unique, but I am very happy about my ability to withdraw from situations of intense focus to look at the broader picture. This is true for life and soccer. Though I am highly competitive and ambitious, I can always laugh about myself or transform a setback into a learning. Playing soccer I am a passionate offensive and scorer, but I can always keep good overview of the field, my fellow players and the game.
The idea to compete college soccer in the US results from a desire to challenge myself as an athlete, while pursuing academic excellence. In Germany my clubs only practices twice a week. Though I am practicing with my friends every other day, I am looking forward to everyday practice in college sports. I feel it would be creating a great balance while studying.
I will decisiveley contribute to the success of my college team and will finish my bachelor degree.
I want to keep improving everyday to fulfill my full potential on a personal, academic and sports level.
