I have always been a sports lover. In fact, when I was four I started playing Tennis and when I was six I tried Basketball. I quit basketball when I was ten years old: in the same year I tried playing golf and I fell in love! My parents brought me to Venice Golf Club: it has been my second home since that day.
My love for sport has made me a competitive and tenacious person. However, I know that I have to work hard and to learn from the experiences that golf makes me live to achieve my goals.
I want to compete in college because it is an opportunity to take part in a team and to share the same passion with other golfers. It is a chance to live in a different world: in Italy high schools and universities oblige players to choose between studies and sport and they don’t help players to do both. In the US, golf is seen in a different way and colleges always support players in achieving their goals.
My goals are to compete with players around the world, meet people from other countries, improve my English skills and take a Master Degree in Sport Management. An experience like this can help me in improving myself.
First of all, I want to take a bachelor’s degree in Business and Administration here in Venice next year. Then, I want to take an athletic scholarship to start a new chapter of my life in the US: there I can carry on playing golf competing against very good players and I can take a Master’s degree in Sport Management. My dream is to live in a World where Golf and Sports are the core.
Even if I practice an individual sport, I’m a team worker and I’m looking forward to joining a new team.
