What makes me unique is that I am driven, dedicated and always set up high and reasonable goals for myself. I stand and practice for hours to improve my game and are not afraid to try out new things my coach Pontus Stjärnfeldt proposes. One thing me and Pontus does is analyzing my game and the mistakes I make during a tournament or a practice session and turning my mistakes into a learning lesson. It means that even bad rounds always contains something positive to work on.
I have no problem with practicing in different weather conditions such as rain, windy, hot or snowy (like here in Sweden). I get up early in the morning everyday to both practice golf and build strength in the gym. I try to be as positive as I can regardless whether a practice session is good or bad.
I am a person who is interested in learning more all the time. I always want to improve and work on things because I know that there is always something to work on whether it is my mental game, golf swing or my course management. I rarely doubt myself which I think is a big key in golf in order to become the best. I love the process of practicing and competing but it is even better when you see that hard work pays off and give back good results. I am a social guy that love talking to others and listen to their perspectives on different things.
I want to compete in college because I think it is the best way and opportunity for me to become succesful. The weather conditions in USA is also much better compared to Sweden and the courses is longer and more difficult. It is also a cool opportunity for me to live in another country, speak another language, practice and study everyday in a different enviroment. These things combined is what is fascinating me to go to college. All the people I know that have been to college have had great results so far, such as Tobias Jonsson and Vincent Norrman. I look forward to play and compete with the best college players in the world and show them who I am and what I can do.
My goals in college is to get an education, develop my golf game and learn more, both academic wise and in the game of golf. I also want to grow as a person, meet new friends and move out from my home country. I want to learn and try out different and new things and see what makes me better. Secondly I want to achieve good grades by studying hard or else I have no plan b to rely on if my golfing journey do not go as plan.
My life goals has always been to live a happy and healthy lifestyle. I want to become a professional golfer so I can have it as my regular job because I know it would be fun and cool. In a few years I want to live in the United States and play golf for a living.
I have always been interested in sports like many other youngsters. In my spare time I hang out with friends or playing sports like badminton, soccer or basketball. I have always been passionate about what I do and has always loved being outside and play golf.
