Interview

As a player, I can control my emotion well while playing and I can perform well under the pressure.
Although, I made mistakes, I don’t hold on to it too long and I am able to commit to the next shot.

Before I even learn about the athletic scholarship opportunity, I have always wanted to study in the U.S. Since I started to play golf, I wanted to play golf not only in the small world of Japan, but abroad.
The environment and facilities in the US are incredible and that you can’t find anywhere else.
I wanted to try and see how good I can be in the competitive field where the all best players gathered from from all over the world.

My first goal would be getting used to the new environment and make good results.
My next goal will be becoming an ace for the team and bring my average score to under par.

At the same time I want to improve all of my ability in academic, athletic and English wise.

My life goal is to become a professional golfer, represent Japan, and become a Japanese player to give hope/dreams to people.
To make the dream a reality, I want to go to a university in the US, and be in an environment of playing against players from different countries.
When I get back to Japan, I want to be able to confidently say that I’ve gone to the university in the US, and become a professional golfer, and make my name known in the world.
