I am a very talented athlete in many different sports and especially in soccer. My whole life is about doing sport and the thing what I love the most, soccer. I have learned very early what it means to play in men’s soccer and prove yourself to adults who most of them had already a successful carrier. That is what makes me different to the rest, because I am a leader and I like to let people know if something does not suit me. This gives me a special presence on the pitch, so I can push and help my teammates to their best efforts. Besides that my dad was a former professional soccer player and works in the soccer industry today, so I always had someone at home who was behind me and gave me the best possible tips and advice to get the best out of me every day and still have this support of course.
When I first heard about this concept in America, I was immediately taken with it and liked the idea of being able to combine my studies with soccer. It is a great opportunity for me to develop myself under the best possible conditions given and next to it concentrate on my studies which is also very important to me. I want to use college as a springboard for my academic goals and my athletic goals on a professional level. I want to achieve things there and would like to give back the trust that I would get there in the form of success.
Academically, I want to put focus at university to get a very good university degree. On sports side I want to win championships of course and to lead my future college to success. I want to make my next step through college and use the conditions there to play as a professional one day. Besides that it will be an experience for me which I can rely on my whole life for sure. I would like to get to know life in America and meet a lot of new people there.
There was a point in my life where I had to decide whether move away from home and go to an Austrian professional youth academy, or either stay at home and try another way to become a pro with already the idea in mind to go to college one day. I decided to stay at home and try it differently. Since then I have wanted to use my ability to play soccer to see the world and to live in other countries and cities. I want to become a professional soccer player and be a role model for other people who have the idea to go to college one day as well.
As I explained at the beginning, I am a very talented athlete. I played for my school basketball team and we even played in the federal championships two times. I also took third place with my school in the national championships in flag football. Another interesting point is that I have already an education for a fitness trainer and even work as one in my fathers fitness company.
