I play soccer since turning 4, almost my whole life. My strength has always been my right foot and my shot. I trained my shots every week several times. Since beginning of my soccer career, I was part of the regional selection (Südbadische Auswahl).
In the age of 15 I left my hometown and usual surroundings & family, moved to boarding school of SC Freiburg to get better every day and live my dream. I reached two national caps for Germany U18 and U19 german cup winner against Schalke 04 (with Leroy Sané and Thilo Kehrer f.ex.) in 2014.
However, besides being successful in soccer, I graduated from high school with an Abitur (university entrance requirement in Germany) in order to still be able to pursue a professional career outside of soccer.
I think my unconditional will and motivation to train and win makes me unique. But above all my freekicks and corners with my right foot are rare and my shooting technique is still improving.
Off the pitch I´m a very open and positive person. I love meeting new people and being out and experiencing things. I live by the motto life is too short to miss out on things, so i always try to try out and take advantage of all the opportunities that come my way. That’s why I really want to take advantage of the opportunity to go to the USA when I get it.
I have heard a lot about college life and wanted to experience what life on campus is like. The training conditions and environment are very professional and I’m looking forward to when I get the chance to take advantage of this opportunity, which I unfortunately didn’t quite get in Germany in the men’s field. At the moment my bachelor studies are my center of life and soccer is just a hobby. But i would like to have both as a center again, and i see a great opportunity here in college to put university and soccer on the same level.
Athletes:
I want to play as many games as possible, score goals and give assists. Of course, I’d also like to win titles in the end. It also appeals to me to play in a team with many nationalities.
But above all, it’s about having fun and staying healthy, especially staying injury-free, so that my time will be as successful as possible.
Academic:
I mainly want to improve and perfect my english skills. Nowadays, a lot of networking works in professional life, so I am looking forward to meeting many new people and making contacts. If I end up with a good to very good Bachelor’s and Master’s degree, the years will have been one of the best in my life and another important foundation stone for my future professional career.
In life, my main concern is to stay healthy and be happy. In a few years, I’d like to have a family and kids, a job that doesn’t feel like work. It is also important to me to achieve a certain independence from money in order to be able to enjoy life to the fullest and provide a secure future for my children.
I am very much looking forward to spending two or more years in the US. Furthermore, to get to know a completely new culture and many new people. But the most important thing is that I achieve all my goals, stay healthy and have many new experiences that I will never forget.
