I enjoyed professional training in a recognized youth training center. As a result, I already have very well-trained technical skills. In particular, my first ball contact followed by dribbling combined with a precise finish on goal are one of my strongest skills. My experiences in the men’s field have also raised my physical abilities to another level. I have become more robust and know how to use my body against my opponent. I am able to resolve complicated game situations and I know how to stage my teammates. Against the ball, I act with the team and target the opponent so that it is difficult for him to continue the game in a pressure situation.
Outside of the field, I focus on my academic successes, I am disciplined and always have a focus on student tasks. I am ready to give anything for football and college. I have already proven this, as the school model of my former high school is based on a strategy similar to that of a scholarship in the USA, namely investing everything in sports and academic training.
Life is a constant competition, isn’t it? I love to compete with others in training or competitions. I always want to win and together, as a team. A scholarship in the USA gives me the opportunity to form new friendships, meet cultures from all over the world and form a functioning team.
First and foremost are the sporting successes that we will achieve together as a team. I want to be part of your soccer team and be a key element in your planning for the upcoming season.
Furthermore, I would like to improve my English skills and, through my degree, compare my already enriched legal understanding from Germany with that of the USA and broaden my horizons as to how the American legal system works.
Football has been with me all my life. In addition to my academic career, I want this sport to stay with me forever. In doing so, I always strive for the best conditions in order to develop myself further, both in terms of football and on an intellectual level. I firmly believe that the USA experience will help me advance in both respects. My goal is to return to Germany one day as a better footballer with a successful academic career in the USA.
I played football at a professional level for 14 years at Chemnitzer FC in a youth training center. I went through the entire youth academy and even gained experience in the professional team through various training units. My everyday life revolved around soccer at a sports high school and at the weekend I met top teams from Germany in the junior Bundesliga, which made me who I am now as a soccer player and person.
