Interview

I believe I am different because I can read the game well and I can score goals for my team, when we need a goals. I can play as a midfielder or striker and I can pass the ball well. When playing in the midfield and I can win the ball back. I believe I have good vision and can spot a player trying to make a run well.
When playing as a striker I try to move a lot and try not to give the defenders options. I can protect the ball well and I can score. I believe that I am different because I can go upfront and score goals and play in the midfield and keep the ball well.

I like college sports because they are very competitive and you get to express yourself and play the sport which you love. I would like to compete amongst talented players to try and improve my game.

My goal is to become a soccer player and competing in the college league will give me a platform to prepare myself accordingly to achieve my goals.

In college I want to impress some scouts and make it into the MLS. I believe I have what it takes to be a world class soccer player.

My short term goal: going to college in the USA made me realize what I really want and gave me the inspiration to continue training and make a strong come back. From this, I think it is very evident that I work extremely hard on my athletic goals.

I want to make it to Major League Soccer as well the Barclays Premier League one day. After I have finished my soccer career, I want to be involved in the soccer development programmes that assist young children who are interested in soccer.

In high school I was disadvantaged a little bit, because the best schools in the country like my school they don’t take soccer seriously, the sports that will get preferential (Hockey, Cricket and Rugby), as result I was forced to choose field hockey which is almost similar to soccer. Soccer is always allocated about 7 games a season. In those games I have played exceptionally well, scoring crucial goals and assisting the strikers to score more goals.
I have grown up with a swimming background where trainings 7+ times a week with 4am starts which I am responsible for, setting my alarm and going. This shows my dedication that I have towards my sports and the amount of effort I am willing to put in to gain the results I want. I am dedicated to training and can balance a busy lifestyle of work and sport. I love the team training environment and I feel that I am often quite a motivating training partner.
Sometimes when I wake up in the morning and feel too tired to train, I just think of my long term goals and the amazing feeling when/if I finally achieve them. In 2011 I became injured at the start of the season which was extremely frustrating. However, not as frustrating as trying to run again after so much time off. Coming back from injury has been one of the hardest hurdles in my short athletic career, and I was low in motivation. I had to take a step back and evaluate my short and long term goals.
