NAIAMissouriGolfFall 2019
Throughout the last two years of playing college golf, I’ve become the best version of myself and also the best golf player I have ever been. Humbleness, gratitude, humor, self-trust and controlled emotions win on the golf course. Always.

Interview

What makes you different? I only started to play golf at 12 years of age, but have already proven my worth and dedication. I believe that golf is the greatest sport in the world, because the round score is achieved by only one´s own effort and ability. I am still a team player though. In the team tournaments, I play not for me, but for the victory my team.
I also train several times a year with Jason Floyd and have learned through him that not only is mental and physical fitness important but also biomechanics. This is why I am doing the coaching license ” C – License Golf grassroots ” , with testing in October 2016. The skills and training methods have helped the development of my game . I already train two youth groups and the youth have responded well to my techniques and training style. I train consistently five days per week, throughout the entire year. My goal it is to play perfect.

My goal is to play at the highest level golf , which is not currently possible in Europe . Studying abroad in America gives me the opportunity to combine the best education and sports development together. College Sport is the best way to compete with the most competive young players in the world and to learn from them. I believe that playing on the university golf team is the path to my future success.

The degree program in the United States will be an important life experience, which I am prepared for. In secondary school, I have proven myself independent and responsible. My interests are broad, including a love of math and science, but my long-term goals are sports related. A study in the direction of Sports Management, Sports Science, Health and Psychology currently interests me. After my success in the United States, I dream that I will attend the Q-School in Europe.

At the end of my life, the most important thing is that I look back and know that I gave 100% towards making my dreams come true. I believe that with hard work and the right attitude, anything is possible. Right now, I am focused on being selected by a United States University Golf Team and I am aligning all of my energy and resources to make this dream a reality. In the future, I hope that I can be an example to others and inspire them to never give up on their own dreams.

Given that I have only played golf for five years, I do not yet have the international qualifications. For this short time, my game is very good, my motivation is very high and my coach has confirmed that I have the talent and work ethic to make it in this sport. After receiving some discouragement from the German Golf Association due to a combination of my age and hcp, I have set up my own training plan, am participating in challenging tournaments and am taking golf physiotherapy. I can also compete internationally with a lower hcp.

Golf brings me more as a human being, but also I evolve my golf game. Therefore an American University for me is the best place to grow as a human and as an athlete. At the same time I want to return something to the team, because I am very good in training, methodology and motivation. It would be a great honor to play for a US University and to be an ambassador for the sport.
