Interview

Ambitious, diverse interests, goal-oriented, conscientious, open-minded, receptive to new ideas, self-disciplined, and self-confident.

The US and Canadian colleges offer a unique combination of high-level academic education, combined with professional soccer playing and training. In Germany, if you play in, for example, the 3rd or 4th league, there is no possibility to study at a regular college with mandatory attendance. That is why I chose to come to America, and why I want to graduate here while playing on the highest level.

Being part of one of the top D1 programs in the nation
No. 1 goalkeeper of my college team
Bachelor’s and Master’s degree

I want to become a professional soccer player—that’s my number one goal, and I’m willing to do whatever it takes to achieve it.
After my soccer career, I want to have a degree so I can transition into a “normal” job, likely in sports management or kinesiology.

My biggest strengths are shot-stopping, distribution, and confidence as a sweeper keeper.
I want to take on the challenge of becoming the starting goalkeeper for a Division 1 program, and I’m confident enough to believe that this goal is very realistic.
