I love defending and heading the ball. I think a lot of centre backs now want to play with the ball, and though I like to play as well, I love defending more than anything in the game and take pride in blocks, tackles and clean sheets. I am also a great leader; every club I have played at I have been captain and this is something I take pride in and bring to every team.

I want to continue playing football at a high level with access to great coaching and facilities, whilst earning an academic degree that is transferrable to life outside of football, simultaneously. I think the college system in America is a great chance to do all these things and hopefully progress my game further.

My goal is to earn and maintain a starting spot in a top level team, and hopefully become captain. After completing my degree I would like to get drafted and hopefully play in the MLS.

I want to play football for a living to pay back my mum and dad for all the time and money they have put into me chasing my dream of playing professionally. I want to make all the time and effort I have put into football count and play at the level I know I can be, and should be, playing at.

I am hugely interested in business and regardless of what happens with football, I would love to run a business that coincides with my career and provides me further financial support, as well as a healthy distraction from football.
