Interview

Ever since I was little, I always knew I wanted to play soccer. My parents have always supported me in all the decisions I made and have encouraged me to do what I enjoy the most, which is soccer. I always put a lot of effort into everything I do, both academically and athletically. Even though I’ve experienced many challenges I have never given up pursuing soccer since it is my passion. What makes me different is that I never take no for an answer when it comes to accomplishing my goals. Whenever I want to achieve a goal, I put all my dedication and effort into it especially because I don’t give up easily.

I want to compete in college because I think it is a great opportunity to grow as an athlete and further grow as a person. Playing at a college level can open new doors for even bigger things in my future, mostly because my goal is to play professionally. Competing in college is what I want to do because I’ll get to learn more in the areas I enjoy and ideally get to make good relationships during it.

My goal is to be able to stand out in college both athletically and academically. I want to be able to get a college degree, as it has always been my dream, but at the same time be part of a great time where we can help each other grow together in the sport. Through playing college soccer, my goal is also to grow as a player in order to play professionally in the NWSL.

I have two main life goals; achieve a higher position in soccer and be recruited by a big soccer team. I also want to study something related to sports because I would love to help women’s sports grow particularly in developing countries, such as Bolivia. I want to help women whose dream is to live off sports and do what they love the most without having their economical situation be a limiting factor.

I love challenges and try to constantly get out of my comfort zone to achieve goals that often seem impossible. Regardless of how hard those situations may be, I always put my best effort towards accomplishing them since I always try to grow as a person, particularly an athlete. I’m a person who has a positive attitude towards life and try to reflect that on people near me.
